It cost me $3.
Between the lettuce, tomatoes, sauces, and 3-cheese blend, the Fresca Pepper Jack Steak Burrito felt more like a wrap than a burrito (i.e., it wasn't hot and had a fresh quality). Given that, I kinda wished they included more lettuce so that the burrito had a bit more filling and heft.
The new Pepper Jack sauce offered a decent heat that was a touch spicier than Taco Bell's Chipotle and Creamy Jalapeno sauces. It had the typical tangy and creamy mayo base paired with the aforementioned heat and a decent cheese flavor.
There was a smattering of steak that was enough for some salty meatiness in most bites.
With the lack of warmth, the fiesta strips actually stayed crunchy from start to finish.
Overall, Taco Bell's Fresca Pepper Jack Steak Burrito turned out decently well, and for $3 is the cheapest steak option you're going to find at Taco Bell.
