It sells for $4.48 a pint at Walmart, but I received this courtesy of Ben & Jerry's.
I don't know if black raspberries taste different from regular raspberries, but this ice cream tastes like regular raspberries with a rich, creamy base and smooth mouthfeel.
As far as inclusions go in Ben & Jerry's flavors, the raspberry swirls and fudge chunks were fairly light. I had to dig around to find the chunks, and the swirls were very thin. There wasn't much of a contrast between the ice cream and the swirls.
The novelty stemmed from the crackling fudge chunks, which contained popping candy for a bit of a firework show in my mouth. It's a bit gimmicky, but it did add some interest to an otherwise normal ice cream flavor.
It's probably not a favorite for me, but Ben & Jerry's Razz Up! made for a pleasantly enjoyable flavor, especially if you like the pairing of chocolate and raspberry.
