Review: Trader Joe's - Toasted Coconut Mini Sheet Cake

The Toasted Coconut Mini Sheet Cake was dense and very moist (from a combination of coconut milk and buttermilk). The combination of cake and frosting was sweet but not too sweet. It was less sweet than similar Trader Joe's cakes that I've tried.

There was a moderate and pleasant coconut flavor throughout, and the added texture of shredded coconut in both the icing and the cake. However, despite the description, I didn't pick up on any toasted coconut notes; it just tasted like plain coconut.

When it comes down to it, Trader Joe's Toasted Coconut Mini Sheet Cake made for good eating. I particularly enjoyed the flavor and sweetness level.
