McDonald's Big Arch Coming March 3, 2026

Calling it the chain's "biggest and boldest burger yet," McDonald's Big Arch Burger will arrive at participating locations nationwide starting March 3, 2026, for a limited time.

The Big Arch features two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of melted white cheddar cheese, both crispy and slivered onions, lettuce, pickles, and Big Arch Sauce, served on a toasted sesame-and-poppy-seeded bun.

The key highlight of the burger is the new Big Arch Sauce, which McDonald's describes as "a tangy, creamy sauce with a perfect balance of mustard, pickle, and sweet tomato flavors.

While it's not yet March 3, 2026, the Big Arch is already available at some locations, including my local McDonald's, where it costs $8.59 (versus $7.29 for a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese). That makes it the priciest burger on the menu, although the Double Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese comes in a close second at $8.49.

The Big Arch comes in at 1020 calories (versus 740 calories for the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese and 850 for the Double Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese), which is the most calories in McDonald's burger lineup. The new sauce, crispy onions, and an extra slice of cheese appear to make up the difference.
