Review: Burger King - Whopper Jr.

It's a Whopper but smaller! Actually, I prefer Burger King's Whopper Jr. to the regular Whopper. The smaller size makes me feel like less of a glutton. Also, unlike the Whopper, which is somewhat wide and flat, the Whopper Jr. doesn't flop under its own weight and feels more solid.  Plus it checks in at a nice and easy 99 cents.

The patty is a decent size and will sometimes have a nice char (you think fast food from a chain would be more consistent). The lettuce and tomato aren't always of good quality (read: soggy).

Besides lettuce and tomatoes, the Whopper Jr. has the normal Whopper blend of mayo and ketchup as well as a couple of pickles. It's not great but its decent when you have some change lying around and feel like some BK.  How come there's a Whopper Jr. but no Mini-Mac?

  3. Rockport Texas Burger King 361-790-5557 # 17558 offers this but
after my experience, I will no longer eat at this location until staff
is changed. Just arrived after menu change. 10:35 ordered a whopper jr.
    w/cheese and
4 pc nuggets. Once at window set for another 19 mins. Very slow
service. Sandwich raw partially frozen meat patty, no mayo or cheese.
This is the 3rd time my meat was bloody/raw in the last 2-3 weeks.

  5. Which Burger King location was that again? In all seriousness I had BK once in Texas and it was unexpectedly awful. There's also one in CA that's terrible too from my experience (It's one of the Visalia locations... the only time I've ever got food poisoning from any fast food place). The other BK's I've been too have always ranged from good to great, at least for what you would expect from them.
