Review: Little Caesars - Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix

Little Caesar's Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix next to a quarter and cup of Crazy Sauce.

Little Caesars' new Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix features two slices of Detroit-Style Deep Dish Pepperoni pizza, four pieces of Italian Cheese Bread, and Crazy Sauce for dipping.

It's $4.99 in most areas, but it cost me $5.99 here in Los Angeles.

This is basically the Detroit-Style version of Little Caesars' regular Slices-N-Stix. It's the same size as half of the chain's Detroit-Style Pizza.

I prefer this over the regular Slices-N-Stix, as, even though the crust is thicker, there's more cheese and texture to it. There's a nice contrast between the crispy edges and soft crumb. Mine was underbaked, though; it was soft and pale along the bottom rather than crisp.

The size makes for a hearty meal (or two light meals) with a nice variety between the cheese sticks and pizza. There's not a lot of pepperoni, but the flavor was there. I prefer ranch for dipping the cheese sticks, as the Crazy Sauce makes them taste more like pizza. They give a generous amount of Crazy Sauce, though. There's a fresh tang and light seasoned flavor to it.

Overall, Little Caesars' Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix hit the spot for a nice lunch. I'm a fan of Little Caesars' Detroit-Style Pizza and its Italian Cheese Bread, so getting the two in one affordable meal with little in the way of leftovers is a no-brainer for me.
