Carl's Jr. Welcomes New Western Bacon Chicken Sandwich

Carl's Jr.'s new Western Bacon Chicken Sandwich.
Carl's Jr. launches the new Western Bacon Chicken Sandwich as a crispy-chicken sandwich analogue to its signature Western Bacon Cheeseburger. The chain has also revealed an updated dipping sauce lineup for its Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders starting April 8, 2026.

Available for a limited time through May 12, 2026, the new sandwich features hand-breaded, crispy-fried chicken filet served with two cherrywood bacon strips, American cheese, crispy onion rings, and Western Barbecue sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun. It's the same as a Western Bacon Cheeseburger, only with a fried-chicken filet instead of a beef patty.

The Western Bacon Chicken Sandwich is priced at $5.99 at participating locations (the price is especially nice here in Los Angeles, where the regular Carl's Jr. Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich costs $11.19).

Starting April 8, 2026, the updated chicken tender dipping sauce lineup will include several sauces featured in the chain's burgers and sandwiches, as well as a new sauce and an updated one. The lineup includes:

  • Diablo Habanero Ranch from the El Diablo Burger.
  • Santa Fe from the Charbroiled Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich.
  • Western Barbecue from the Western Bacon Cheeseburger.
  • New Garlic Parmesan - "Creamy, herby, and cheesy."
  • New Heinz Ranch - "Cool and tangy."

The current dipping sauce lineup includes Ranch, Sweet & Bold BBQ, and Buffalo Sauce.
