Review: Little Caesars - Slices-N-Stix

Little Caesars' Slices-N-Stix features a single round pizza crust that's topped on one half like a pepperoni pizza and topped like the chain's Italian Cheese Bread on the other half. Additionally, the pizza half is cut into wedge slices, while the cheesesticks are cut into strips.

I paid $6 for an order.

The pizza portion is the same as their original Hot-N-Ready Pepperoni Pizza (as opposed to their ExtraMostBestest Pepperoni Pizza). It's fairly simple with a light amount of sauce, a decent cover of cheese and enough pepperoni in most bites. It doesn't really stand out but it's cheap.

The "Stix" portion felt a little less cheesy than their Italian cheese bread but otherwise offered the same taste but with less variety and quality of textures (less melty cheese and no crispy crust edges) due to the smaller amount of crust and cheese. You'd think that with the more flattened but denser crust that the cheese would have felt more prominent but I didn't find that to be the case. While the crust was pliable enough when hot, it started to get pretty chewy at the warm-to-lukewarm stage. It toasts up pretty nice in a pan or oven though.

Overall, Little Caesars' Slices-N-Stix makes for a fair and inexpensive option if you're feeding one or two people and want both pizza and cheesesticks but you get a better eating experience buying a pizza and regular order of Italian Cheese Bread if you're feeding more (or don't mine the leftovers).
