A 3-piece order was $6.39 or a little over $2 per tender (which is around the going rate at chains like Wingstop and Popeyes).
My local McDonald's had an interesting situation where the McCrispy Strips were not yet available to order through an ordering kiosk or the mobile app, but could be ordered at the counter and drive-thru.
The McCrispy Strips were long and thin with a light but crunchy shell. They were well-seasoned (although not particularly peppery) and nice enough to eat on their own. The chicken inside was decently tender and moist, although one piece was rather stringy. I don't know if it was old, cut wrong at the factory (with the grain), or both, but it was a pain to bite into (the other two strips were fine, though).
The Creamy Chili Dip is described as a "savory, sweet, and tangy sauce." It had a bright orange color and was creamy, sweet, and somewhat tangy. There was a very mild heat to it (like black pepper level heat). It went well with the seasonings of the McCrispy Strips. I also tried it with Chicken McNuggets, and they didn't really mesh. Given the lack of heat, I don't know why they called it "chili dip."
Overall, McDonald's McCrispy Strips turned out pretty well. I particularly liked the seasoned flavor and thin, crunchy crust (which should hold up well in a Snack Wrap).
