Smoothie King Blends New Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smoothie in Select Cities

Smoothie King partners with Heinz to launch the new Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smoothie for a limited time at select locations in five major markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Miami, and parts of the Greater NY area and Northern New Jersey.

Calling it the "first-ever ketchup-based smoothie," the Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smoothie features a blend of Acai sorbet, apple juice, strawberries, and raspberries with Heinz Simply Ketchup.

According to Smoothie King, the new flavor provides an answer as folks have recently been asking, "If tomatoes are a fruit, is ketchup a smoothie?" The new smoothie is described as "sweet and fruity" with "a bright, tangy ketchup finish."

Where available, the Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smoothie is priced at $5.70 for a 20-oz cup (it only comes in one size), while supplies last. You can check the Smoothie King website here to see if it's available near you.
