Review: Chick-fil-A - Waffle Potato Fries

Chick-fil-A's Waffle Potato Fries feature skin-on, waffle-shaped potatoes deep-fried in peanut oil.

As a kid, waffle fries fascinated me, I often wondered how they managed to cut their fries like that. It wasn't until I saw an infomercial for one of those chop-o-matic doodads that I had even a smidgen of an idea of how waffle fries were cut.

Anyways, sufficed to say they still pique my interest to this day. I don't know... I just like looking at them.

Chick-fil-A's Waffle Cut Fries features one thing in particular that I just love: they are just touched with a wee bit of salt; just enough to enhance the potatoes' natural flavor without washing it out. The fries are crisp without and yielding within.

I'd say it's about a good a fry as you can get and for those salt fiends, Chick-fil-A has plenty of salt packets you can add yourself. For those who like mayo with their fries (i.e. Europeans), Chick-fil-A features two different brands of mayonnaise you can choose from!
