A Look at Taco Bell's $5 Steak Nachos Box

Taco Bell's $5 Steak Nachos Box is a limited-time combo that features the largest serving of nachos currently on the chain's menu (but not the largest serving of nachos that they've ever offered).

If you like Nachos Bell Grande (tortilla chips topped with nacho cheese, meat, pico de gallo, tomatoes, sour cream, and refried beans), the Steak Nachos Box is almost the same except bigger (411g versus 303g) and with pico de gallo (in place of plain tomatoes) and their 3-cheese blend. Unlike the XXL and Boss Nachos before it, there's no guacamole here unless you spring for it as an add-on.

While it's cheaper, the Steak Nachos Box is also easier for Taco Bell to roll out than previous large size of nachos. It's made with packaging that each restaurant already stocks. The nachos is put together on a sheet of waxed paper in the same box as the chain's other $5 Boxes.

Price-wise, it's a relative bargain compared to an order of Nachos Bell Grande with steak, which goes for $4.49.

If you're curious as to what I thought of the nachos, my thoughts haven't changed from when I tried the XXL Nachos.
