KFC Set to Release New Pickle-Flavored Fried Chicken

KFC plans to release new Pickle Fried Chicken for a very limited-time starting Monday, June 25, 2018 at participating locations nationwide.

Similar to KFC's Nashville Hot, Smoky Mountain BBQ, and Georgia Gold, KFC's Pickle Fried Chicken features a pickle sauce that can be applied to the chain's Extra Crispy Chicken (bone-in, strips/tenders, or as part of a Crispy Colonel Sandwich).

Pickle sauce includes the requisite dill and vinegar flavors but also includes notes of onion, garlic, buttermilk, and white and black pepper.

If you're hoping to try it, you'll want to go sooner rather than later as each restaurant will only receive enough ingredients to make Pickle Fried Chicken for a few weeks and that's it.

With the addition, KFC becomes the first national fast food chain to offered pickle-flavored fried chicken.
