Going with an imitation of a Big Mac that McDonald's doesn't offer here in the US, Burger King debuts the new Chicken Big King.

Basically a Big King with breaded chicken patties instead of beef patties, the sandwich also includes American cheese, lettuce, crunchy pickles, onions, King sauce, and, of course, the club-sandwich-style three-part bun.

News: 7-Eleven - New Chicken Dippers

7-Eleven now offers new Chicken Dippers as a snacking option from their hot foods display. The new item features lightly-breaded white meat chicken chunks with a choice of either Ancho Chipotle, Ranch, or Honey Mustard dipping sauce.

Review: Jack in the Box - Blazin' Chicken Sandwich

Jack in the Box's Blazin' Chicken Sandwich features a spicy breaded chicken filet with ghost pepper ranch sauce, grilled onions, jalapenos, Swiss-style cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, on a sesame seed bun. It's billed as the chain's "hottest sandwich yet."

For a limited time, Jack in the Box has brought back Sourdough Breakfast Melts to their all-day breakfast menu.

The sandwiches are pretty much your standard meat, cheese, and egg combos, but on toasted sourdough rounds rather than on an English muffin or biscuit.

This Pizza Chain Will Offer a Pizza Cake If You Vote for It

Declaring "If you like it, we'll make it," Boston Pizza (Boston's here in the US) is inviting Canadian fans (although the chain does have a little more than 40 locations here in the US) to vote on a number of "Pizza Game Changers," including pizza mints (a tiny "pizza" of pizza-flavored mint candy slices), a gas-powered pizza cutter, and pizza cake via pizzagamechangers.com.

Around the World: Wendy's Japan Offers Pesto and Red Bell Pepper Sauce in New Chicken Sandwiches

Over in Japan, the latest limited-time menu items at Wendy's are the new Basil Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Red Bell Grilled Chicken Sandwich.

The sandwiches were made available starting this week on Monday.

Review: Domino's - Sweet BBQ Bacon Specialty Chicken

Domino's Sweet BBQ Bacon Specialty Chicken features about 12 chunks of breaded chicken breast glued together with a melted blend of cheeses made from mozzarella and cheddar and topped with BBQ sauce and diced bacon. It's basically Domino's attempt at making a chicken crust pizza.

News: Burger King - King Deals Value Menu Anchored By New Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe

In a move similar to Wendy's Right Size Right Price Value Menu, Burger King has renamed and rearranged their value menu as the "King Deals" Value Menu with prices "starting at $1"

While most of menu consists of hold overs from the previous value menu, there is one new burger: the Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe. It features a flame-grilled beef patty with tomatoes, lettuce, bacon, pickles, onions, and American cheese on a toasted sesame bun.

For a limited-time, Jack in the Box is adding cream pie to their menu. Specifically, they're offering the new Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Pie.

The chocolate-peanut butter dessert features a chocolate cookie crust with a creamy Reese's Peanut Butter filling, topped with crumbled Reese's Peanut Butter Cups as well as a chocolaty drizzle.

News: Arby's - Free Snack-Sized Curly Fries on Tax Day

In a bit of an annual tradition, Arby's is once again offering free snack-sized orders of their signature Curly Fries tomorrow, April 15, 2014 (i.e. Tax Day). They're calling it "Arby's 4th Annual Tax Day Curly Fry Giveaway."

The offer is good at Arby's restaurant nationwide and no purchase is necessary. You will however need to print out a coupon, which you can find on the Arby's website here.

News: Taco Bell - New Spicy Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco

Rather than a new exterior, Taco Bell looked to changing up what was inside the shell for their latest Doritos Locos Taco, the new Spicy Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco. The "Spicy Chicken" is literally a new spicy shredded chicken rather than chicken and a spicy sauce (which was a prototype that I spotted testing last year). Update: May 8, 2014 - Nope, it's the exact same thing as the "Fiery Chicken" version I tried last year.

The new taco is set to debut on May 1 and will only be available for a limited time. Update 4/25/14 - They've pushed back the launch date by a week to May 8.

The suggested price for the Spicy Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco (or, if you really like acronyms: the SCCR DLT) is $1.59 for the regular version (with shredded cheese and lettuce), and $1.89 for the supreme version (adds sour cream and diced tomatoes).
