For the month of June 2023, Salt & Straw churns out their Upcycled Food Series of limited-time ice cream and frozen dessert flavors. According to the brand, upcycled food "uses ingredients that otherwise would not have gone to human consumption, are procured and produced using verifiable supply chains, and have a positive impact on the environment."
