McDonald's Serves Up BBQ Bandit Burger and Lava Cake Over in New Zealand

McDonald's serves up the BBQ Bandit Burger and Chocolate Lava Pudding over in New Zealand ("pudding" being "dessert" and not a custard or mousse like it would be here in the US).

The BBQ Bandit Burger features a grilled beef patty, cheese, bacon, battered-and-fried onion rings, mayo, and smoky BBQ sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun. 

Interestingly, you can't just buy a side of onion rings while the burger is around (nor are onion ring normally offered on the McDonald's New Zealand menu).

The BBQ Bandit Burger was first released in New Zealand back in 2019 and is making a limited time return to the menu. It's very similar to Carl's Jr.'s Western Bacon Cheeseburger or Burger King's Rodeo Cheeseburger here in the US.

The Chocolate Lava Pudding is basically a molten lava cake ala mode and features "a rich chocolate cake, a molten liquid chocolate core, and a side of soft serve."
