Basketball Donuts are coming to participating Krispy Kreme locations starting Monday, March 9, 2015.

The seasonal donuts coincide with the NCAA Basketball Tournament (AKA "March Madness"), which kicks off in the middle of the month.

Mint Oreo Shake Returns to Smashburger

The Limited Edition Mint Oreo Shake makes its return to Smashburger as St. Patrick's Day approaches.

The hand-spun shake is made with vanilla Haagen-Dazs ice cream, crushed Oreo cookies, and (green) mint syrup.

Dunkin' Donuts Debuts New Spicy Omelet Flatbread

Dunkin' Donuts adds a little spice heading into spring with the new Spicy Omelet Flatbread.

The new breakfast sandwich features an omelet made with pepper jack, habanero, red bell peppers, and diced jalapenos, plus bacon and a slice of white cheddar cheese on a toasted flatbread.

Krispy Kreme UK Gets New Reese's Peanut Butter Donuts

While they've offered Oreo donuts in the past here in the US, over in the UK, Krispy Kreme introduces the new Reese's Peanut Butter donut.

The limited time treat features a yeast shell donut filled with Reese's peanut butter (like the stuff you buy in a jar) and topped off with chocolate icing, Reese's peanut butter drops and caramelized hazelnuts.

New Thai Tea and Vanilla Rooibos at The Coffee Bean

The Coffee Bean introduces new Thai Tea and Vanilla Rooibos (pronounced "roy-bos") tea drinks to usher in the Spring. Both drinks are available for a limited time through Sunday, May 17, 2015.

"Buy One, Take One" Deal is Back at Olive Garden

Olive Garden's "Buy One, Take One" deal is back this month. Under the limited-time promotion, you can choose from one of seven entrees and receive a second entree from a limited selection to take home. Prices for the deal start at $12.99 (may vary).

Dairy Queen's March 2015 Specials

Dairy Queen goes green in March with the new Grasshopper Mousse Pie Blizzard as this month's Blizzard of the Month. They're also offering a free cone giveaway on March 16th.

The new, limited-time flavor features green mint-flavored syrup, graham pie crust, and choco chunks, blended into the chain's signature vanilla soft serve and finished with whipped topping.

Subway continues with the Simple $6 Menu over the MIA Featured $5 Footlong going into March but also introduces the new Turkey Italiano Melt.

Review: Daelmans - Mini Stroopwafels AKA Caramel Bites

Daelmans' Mini Stroopwafels (literally "syrup waffles") or "Caramel Bites" feature bite-sized waffle sandwich cookies with a thin layer of caramel in the middle.

A 7.05-oz bag was $2.79 at Trader Joe's and one of the few non-store-brand items you'll find there. They're Dutch (Netherlands) in origin.

IHOP is once again giving away free pancakes for National Pancake Day. An annual tradition, the diner chain is offering a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes at participating locations from 7 AM to 10 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 (dine-in only).

Edible Cookie Coffee Cup in the Works in the UK from KFC

KFC has come up with an edible coffee cup for possible deployment over in the UK. According to Metro, they're called "Scoff-ee Cups" and they're biscuit (cookie) cups with an inner lining of white chocolate and an outer wrapping of sugar paper made to look like a Seattle's Best Coffee cup.
