Review: KFC - Chocolate Chip Cookie

KFC's Chocolate Chip Cookie is baked fresh in stores and available at three for $1.29 in my area but also as part of a $5 Fill Up meal.

I got this one as part of a $5 Fill Up Meal.

Apparently, some KFC locations also serve Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, and Double Fudge cookies, but my local joint only has Chocolate Chip.

The cookie was actually airy and lighter than I thought it would be. Usually, chocolate chip cookies that are this light are pretty dry and crispy, but this one offered a nice combination of crispy crust with a soft, moist interior.

Inside, there was lots of melted milk chocolate with the requisite oozy texture that tells you it was baked recently.

Overall, KFC makes a pretty mean Chocolate Chip Cookie and it comes as a nice bonus with their $5 Fill Up Meals. The airy but moist texture does a lot to set it apart from other fast food chocolate chip cookies.
