Review: Taco Bell - Taco Sauce-Seasoned Tortilla Chips

Taco Bell's Taco Sauce-Seasoned Chips are being tested at a few locations here in Southern California and feature packaged tortilla chips in three flavors mirroring the brand's taco sauces: Mild, Hot, and Fire (sorry, no Salsa Verde).

I picked these up for $1.49 per 2-oz bag, which is a little pricey but I guess comparable to similar sizes at a convenience store.

Ice Cream-Flavored Coffees Back at Dunkin' Donuts Along with New Rocky Road

Ice cream-flavored coffees and lattes inspired by Baskin-Robbins ice cream are back at Dunkin' Donuts. Two flavors, Cookie Dough and Butter Pecan, make their return along with new Rocky Road.

Rocky Road features the tastes of chocolate, marshmallow, and almond.

New Hot and Sweet Flavors of Popchips Coming Summer 2015

Popchips plans to introduce two new flavors this summer: Crazy Hot Potato and Cinnamon Twist Sweet Potato. 

Crazy Hot Potato is billed as the brand's "spiciest product to-date" and is described as "hot as a habanero pepper" but balanced with a "cheesy note."

Applebee's Adds Portion Flexibility to Appetizers

Applebee's new Bar Snacks, Shareables, and Pub Plates menu looks to provide a selection of appetizers in different sizes so that there are some fit for snacking, sharing, or as a meal unto itself.

The menu includes the introduction of nine new appetizers as well as a "Build Your Sampler" option, where you can mix and match any of the appetizers below.

At the value end of the spectrum, Bar Snacks start at under $5.

The new Cuban Press Panini features fire-roasted pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, sliced dill pickles, and yellow mustard grill-pressed inside of a ficelle.
