Review: Spearmint Mix Tic Tacs

Spearmint Mix Tic Tacs feature a blend of two different spearmint-flavored, capsule-shaped mints.

A 1-oz container costs $1.39 but I received this one courtesy of Ferrero (the makers of Tic Tac and also Nutella).

The blend consists of light green and dark green mints. The light green ones are meant to have a more subtle, smooth flavor while the dark green ones are meant to deliver a more powerful minty flavor.

While visually different, they still taste mostly the same (since they're both spearmint flavored). Both are fairly smooth but also cause a minty tingle on the tongue. The darker ones are definitely mintier with more staying power, but not so much as some of the mints that you can get over in Asia that are so powerful they will literally clear your sinuses.

Overall, Spearmint Mix Tic Tacs are enjoyable and leave your breath minty fresh. I wonder if they could have drawn more of a contrast between the two mint flavors by making the lighter ones even lighter still, while kicking it up a minty notch with the dark green ones.
