"Great Tastes of America" Menu Makes Annual Return to McDonald's UK

The "Great Tastes of America" menu is once again back at McDonald's in the UK bringing with it burgers that you'll probably never find McDonald's serving here in the USA.

This year the menu features four short-run burgers, each available for only two weeks, as well as four other menu items available for the whole eight week duration of the promotion.

Currently available through May 16, 2017 is The New York Stack featuring two beef patties, beechwood-smoked bacon, cheese, coleslaw, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and pickles on a sesame & poppyseed-topped bagel.

From May 17 through May 31, there's The South Carolina Stack which comes with two beef patties, beechwood-smoked bacon, smoky cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, and a "sweet ‘n’ tangy" South Carolina mustard sauce on a toasted corn meal-dusted bun.

On May 31, The Louisiana Stack arrives and will be available through June 13. It consists of two beef patties, pepper jack cheese, red and yellow peppers, mayo, and spicy ketchup on a spicy sesame seed bun.

Last to appear is The Tennessee Stack. It will be on the menu through June 27 and features two beef patties, beechwood-smoked bacon, smoky cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, and "Tennessee-style" BBQ sauce on a toasted flour-topped bun.

Besides the four burgers, this year's menu also includes;

- The Ranch California Chicken - Two crispy chicken strips, beechwood-smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, and ranch sauce on a toasted sourdough bun.

- Spicy Nacho Cheese Wedges - Four wedges filled with nacho cheese and jalapenos. A sour cream and chive dip is included.

- Mississippi Mud Pie - Vanilla soft serve ice cream mixed with cookie crumble, chocolate-coated cookie pieces, and chocolate fudge sauce.

- Mississippi Caramel Pie - Vanilla soft serve ice cream swirled with cookie crumble, cookie pieces with a caramel-flavored coating, and caramel sauce.

If you're curious as to how it compares, here's last year's menu.
