To get your free cone, you'll need to download the McDonald's mobile app and redeem the "Free Vanilla Cone" coupon from the app on Sunday, July 16th.
Additionally, the chain will be giving away a single limited-edition cone, the Golden Arches Cone, to one randomly selected free-cone seeker between 2 to 5 PM local time on July 16th. In addition to getting a golden McDonald's cake cone, the winner will get "free McDonald's soft serve for life."
The prize comes in the form of a McDonald's gift card worth $312 plus a check for $4,680. According to the rules, "life" is defined as one cone per week for 50 years. You can find the full rules online here.
