Jamba Juice Introduces New Pumpkin Protein Smoothie

For those seeking a healthier alternative to the pumpkin spice lattes of the fall, Jamba Juice looks to fit the bill with the introduction of the new Pumpkin Protein Smoothie.

Available for a limited time, the Pumpkin Protein Smoothie features a blend of almond milk, pumpkin spice base, cinnamon, chia seeds, whey protein, and ice. A 16-oz cup comes in at 280 calories compared to a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte at 380 calories (though you can knock it down to 310 if you forgo the whipped cream).

The smoothie chain has also brought back the Pumpkin Smash Smoothie, a more decadent option that consists of milk, pumpkin spice base, nonfat frozen yogurt, and ice. It actually contains 10 more calories than Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte at 390 (and 69 grams of sugar versus 48 for the Pumpkin Spice Latte).

Basically, Jamba Juice has your pumpkin fix covered whether you want something a bit healthier or something more indulgent.
