A similar deal has been offered in select markets previously.
Curiously, the breakfast sandwiches in the national deal do not include cheese (if I remember correctly, about a year ago, my local Carl's Jr. had the same deal for $2 and it included cheese). Still, the price is notably lower than similar deals at competitors such as McDonald's or Burger King.
