Hershey's Goes with Gold Caramelized Creme for New Candy Bar

Hershey's unveils new Hershey's Gold as the fourth flavor profile for their namesake candy bar. The new bars feature caramelized creme with salty peanut and pretzel bits.

The company describes the flavors as "a sweet, buttery taste that is topped off with a creamy and crunchy finish." The new creme of the candy bar is created by caramelizing white creme through a proprietary cooking process.

You can find bars of Hershey's Gold at retailers nationwide starting December 1, 2017. They're also available now at select Hershey's Chocolate World locations in Las Vegas, NV and Hershey, PA. The bars come in both standard 1.4-oz and king size 2.5-oz sizes. The suggested price is 99 cents for the standard size bars and $1.69 for the king size bars.

The Hershey's bar first launched in 1900 and are made with milk chocolate. In 1939, they introduced Hershey's Special Dark and much later, in 1995, they released Hershey's Cookies 'n Creme (which also spawned some seasonal variants such as Candy Corn and Candy Cane versions).
