Review: Burger King - Spicy Chicken Nuggets

Burger King's Spicy Chicken Nuggets feature ground white meat chicken covered in a spicy home-style breading.

An order of 10 cost me $1.49.

My bag of chicken nuggets was warm at best. They're basically the same as the chain's regular chicken nuggets only spicier, which is to say they're fairly heavy on the breading. The nuggets stayed pretty crispy due to the bigger bits of breadcrumbs but were soft underneath.

Heat-wise, these are quite spicy with a lasting burn. They're just a tad too salty but have a nice, seasoned flavor. The chicken inside wasn't plump or juicy but instead was just slightly moist.

Overall, Burger King's Spicy Chicken Nuggets were just decent for me. Still, they're dirt cheap and will sate a chicken nugget craving in a pinch. Compared to Wendy's discontinued version, they're pretty similar. I imagine a fresher batch might be indistinguishable, although I could be remembering it wrong.
