2017 Veterans Day Deals and Freebies

Here are some of the Veterans Day deals at some of the biggest eateries available for active and retired military personnel for 2017. Most are dine-in only and require some proof of military service (I'll update as more come in).

- Applebee's - Free meal from a special Veterans Day menu for veterans and active members of the United States military on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

The menu includes the following options:

- The American Standard Burger
- Butcher's Meat + Potatoes
- Three-Cheese Chicken Cavatappi
- Chicken Tenders Platter
- Fiesta Lime Chicken
- Double Crunch Shrimp
- Oriental Chicken Salad

- Buffalo Wild Wings -  Free order of wings and a side of fries to active and retired armed services members on November 11, 2017 at all locations.

- California Pizza Kitchen - Free pizza, pasta or salad from special Veterans Day menu for active and retired US military on November 11, 2017 at participating locations.

- Chipotle - Buy one, get one free entree deal on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 5 PM to closing for US military and veterans.

- Cicis - A free buffet with active or retired military ID if offer is mentioned on November 11, 2017.

- Cracker Barrel - Free piece of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake to active and inactive U.S. military service members at all locations on November 11, 2017.

- Denny's - Veterans and active military get a free Build-Your-Own Grand Slam on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 5 AM to 12 PM at participating restaurants nationwide.

- Dunkin' Donuts - Free donut for veterans and active military members with military ID on November 11, 2017 at participating locations nationwide.

- Golden Corral - Free "Thank you" dinner for any active or former US military members on Monday, November 13, 2017, 5 to 9 PM.

- IHOP - Free stack of three Red, White & Blue pancakes or a Red, White and Blue pancake combo (depending on franchised location offer) available for retired and active duty military members between 7 AM and 7 PM at participating IHOP restaurants nationwide. Proof of military service required and good for dine-in only.

- Jimboy's Tacos - Free meal (up to $10 value) with valid military ID on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at participating locations.

- Krispy Kreme - Free coffee and donut for veterans and active military on November 11, 2017.

- Little Caesars - Free $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo at participating stores nationwide on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 11 AM to 2 PM for all U.S. military members and military veterans. The combo includes four slices of Detroit-style DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza, paired with a 20-ounce Pepsi product.

- McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants - Free lunch or dinner entree on Sunday, November 5 for US military veterans and Gold Star family members with proof of service. "Gold Star" refers to family members who have lost a loved one in military service. Reservations are encouraged.

- Mission BBQ - Free Sandwich and Cake for veterans on November 11, 2017.

- On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina -  Free Choose 2 or Choose 3 Combo Meal to all active and retired military members on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at participating locations. Military members with valid ID or proof of service may select any two or any three items to create their own free combo. Each combo also includes guests' choice of black beans or refried beans, and their choice of rice at no additional charge.

- Outback Steakhouse - Free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage with order for veterans and active military on November 11, 2017.

- Red Lobster - Free appetizer or dessert for veterans, active-duty military, and reservists with a valid military ID on Saturday, November 11, 2017

- Red Robin - Free Red's Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries at participating restaurants nationwide on Saturday, November 11, 2017, for veterans and active duty military.

- Shari's - Free pancake breakfast for all current and former military on November 11, 2017. The free pancake breakfast includes three pancakes, two eggs, two slices of bacon, and hash browns.

- Sizzlers - Free lunch entree for dine-in before 4 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2017 with proof of service. Choice of a six-ounce tri-tip sirloin steak, Malibu Chicken or six jumbo crispy shrimp with a choice of side dish and beverage at participating locations.

- Texas Roadhouse - Free lunch (entree and drink) from a special menu for active and former US military on November 11, 2017.

- TGI Fridays - Free lunch menu item up to $12 for dine-in from 11 AM to 2 PM (local time) with military ID shown on November 11, 2017. You'll also get a $5 coupon good on your next visit.

- Wienerschnitzel - Free chili dog, small fries, and small Pepsi on November 11, 2017 when you present your military ID or wear your uniform.
