Friendly's Revamps Menu with 12 New Items Including Doritos Cool Ranch Burger

Friendly's adds 12 new menu items, including a new burger with Doritos Cool Ranch chips, as part of a menu update that's meant to "[appeal] to a younger clientele while still catering to longtime guests.

The new menu items include:

 - Doritos Cool Ranch ChoppedCheese Burger - A beef burger patty chopped with pepper jack cheese, onions, jalapenos, and salsa, then drizzled with ranch dressing and topped with Doritos Cool Ranch tortilla chips, served on a grilled ciabatta roll.

- Tater Kegs - Five jumbo tater kegs filled with Cheddar, bacon, and chives, topped with sour cream.

- $100,000 Cobb Salad - Mixed lettuce topped with boiled egg, crumbled Bleu cheese, chopped bacon, cranberries, golden raisins, diced tomato, and thin-sliced chicken breast tossed with Lite Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.

- Chicken Caesar Salad - Mixed lettuce, thinly sliced chicken breast, shaved Parmesan and garlic croutons tossed in creamy Asiago Caesar dressing.

- Jammed-Up Burger - A beef patty, white cheddar cheese, cheesy beef brisket, lettuce, tomato, and fig jam on a brioche bun.

- Cheese Skirt Burger - A beef patty with a skirt made of crispy Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese, plus Thousand Island dressing, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickle chips on a brioche bun.

- Tex-Mex Alfredo Taco Pasta - A Bolognese-style, Tex-Mex meat sauce and pasta tossed in a creamy Alfredo Sriracha taco sauce, and served with toasted ciabatta bread.

- Bangin' Beef Stroganoff - A thin-sliced sirloin steak and creamy mushroom, onion, and garlic sauce tossed with pasta. It comes with thick ciabatta toast.

- American Cheese Brisket SuperMelt - Beef brisket and melted American cheese on parmesan-grilled sourdough.

- Grilled Chicken Mozza SuperMelt - Thin-sliced chicken breast, roasted red peppers, and basil pesto sauce served between thick white Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses on grilled sourdough.

- Oven Roasted Beef Brisket - 6 ounces of brisket served with steamed vegetables, gravy-topped garlic red-skin mashed potatoes, and thick ciabatta toast.

- Aloha Stir Fry Chicken - Chicken with vegetable and pineapple rice in a light sauce, plus crispy chow mein noodles.

The 12 new menu items are joined by a number of new ice cream options, including:

- Barking Pretzel Shortcake Sundae - New Barking Pretzel ice cream (brown sugar-flavored ice cream swirled with peanut butter, chocolate-coated pretzel pieces, and salty pretzel bark pieces) served over shortcake with peanut butter sauce, marshmallow, whipped topping, and crushed pretzels.

- Barking Pretzel Fribble - A milkshake made with Barking Pretzel ice cream with a caramel drizzle, topped with whipped cream, a cherry, and a pretzel rod swizzle.

- Barking Pretzel Brownie Tower - Barking Pretzel ice cream layered with fudge brownie cubes, Swiss chocolate, and peanut butter sauce, topped with whipped topping, chocolate sprinkles, and a cherry.

- New Fudgy PB Nut Fribble - A milkshake made with vanilla ice cream, fudge swirl, coated sugar cone pieces, and peanuts, blended with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce.

As a limited time deal, Friendly's is offering a free medium sundae with the purchase of a $100,000 Cobb Salad, Chicken Caesar Salad, Jammed-Up Burger, Doritos Cool Ranch® ChoppedCheese Burger, Tex-Mex Alfredo Taco Pasta, or Grilled Chicken Mozza SuperMelt through April 30, 2022.
