White Castle Adds "The 1921 Slider" as New, Permanent Menu Item

Calling it "a slider inspired by the very first hamburger White Castle made when it opened its doors in 1921," White Castle introduces The 1921 Slider as a permanent addition to their menu chain-wide.

The 1921 Slider features a thick, seared and seasoned beef patty served with cheddar cheese, grilled onions, a slice of Roma tomato, lettuce, and pickles on a slider bun. While, it sounds like a fairly traditional burger but in slider form, it's a marked departure from the rest of White Castle burger sliders, which typically come with a thin beef patty that's steamed over onions with nary any tomato or lettuce.

White Castle tested The 1921 Slider in Cincinnati last spring and has now rolled it out to most locations save for those in New York, which will get the new slider in June 2022.

White Castle also adds new Coca-Cola Creme Soda to complement The 1921 Slider.

As a special promotion to welcome the new slider, Craver National loyalty program members can find a buy-one-get-one-free offer for The 1921 Slider in the White Castle app. It can be used through May 30, 2022 chain-wide (except in New York and New Jersey locations).
