McDonald's South Korea Serves Up New Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger

McDonald's South Korea's Jindo Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger
McDonald's serves up a new burger over in South Korea that sees a beef patty paired with a breaded and fried green onion cream croquette. They're calling it the "Jindo Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger."

The main feature of the new burger is a breaded and fried croquette patty made of green onions, cream cheese, and potatoes. The green onions are locally grown from Jindo Island to highlight local produce as well as support local farmers in the country.

The Jindo Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger also includes a slightly sweet and spicy mayo sauce made with grilled green onions. The rest of the burger includes a grilled beef patty, grilled onions, tomato, and lettuce on a toasted sesame seed bun.

The new burger is part of a "Taste of Korea" menu that also features local ingredients and includes a 7-Grain Shake and Sweet and Salty Honey Butter Injeolmi Fries (injeolmi are Korean rice cakes made with sticky rice that's typically served dusted with powdered dried beans or other powdered foods).
