Sonic Introduces New Pretzel Bacon Smasher Burger and Peppermint Brownie Bark Shake

It's not even Halloween yet, but Sonic is moving on to the holidays with the introduction of the new Pretzel Bacon Sonic Smasher burger and Peppermint Brownie Bark Shake, which are available now in the Sonic App ahead of a national launch starting November 3, 2025. The fast-food chain has also updated its value menu.

The Pretzel Bacon Double Sonic Smasher features smashed and grilled Angus beef patties, American cheese, bacon, crispy-fried onions, and creamy mustard, served on a soft, buttery pretzel bun. A triple-patty version is also available for bigger appetites. Prices start at $7.39 for the Double and $8.39 for the Triple.

The Peppermint Brownie Bark Shake features vanilla soft serve blended with chocolate chunk brownie pieces and crushed peppermints, topped with whipped topping, a maraschino cherry, and more crushed peppermints. The price for the shake starts at $5.39 for a medium.

Both items are available for a limited time at participating Sonic restaurants nationwide.

Sonic has revamped its $1.99 Menu with an updated lineup that includes the New Creamy Mustard Chicken Tender Wrap. The snack-sized wrap features a white meat, fried chicken tender wrapped in a soft, flour tortilla with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and creamy mustard sauce.
