The new offering features tempura-battered shrimp, crispy-fried beef strips, green beans, and red bell peppers wok-tossed with a "savory, subtly spicy umami sauce." The shrimp is the same as from Panda Express' Honey Walnut Shrimp, while the beef comes from the chain's Beijing Beef.
According to Panda Express, Crispy Sesame Shrimp & Beef is "inspired by the classic Sichuan dish, Mouthwatering Chicken," which is poached chicken served cold with a chili oil sauce.
Also on October 8, Panda Express will be introducing its Wok Wednesdays promotion (as a play on Taco Tuesdays). Each Wednesday, the promotion offers a game that can be played through the Panda Express mobile app to unlock "reward offers" for use on the same day.
