Taco Bell Tests New Gordita Crunch Sliders

Taco Bell is testing new Gordita Crunch Sliders for a limited time at participating locations in the Nashville area.

The new menu item features a set of two snack-sized pillowy flatbreads folded around crispy white-corn shells with a layer of melted three-cheese blend to hold them together. Nestled inside the shells is a filling of your choice of seasoned beef, slow-roasted chicken, or grilled, marinated steak, plus Creamy Chipotle sauce and pico de gallo. They range from $4.49 to $5.49 (varying with location) for the chicken or steak versions and $3.49 for the seasoned beef version.

While essentially a mini rendition of the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, the Gordita Crunch Sliders sport a slightly different taco shell (made of white corn instead of yellow corn) and a different combination of fillings (the Cheesy Gordita Crunch is filled with seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and Spicy Ranch).

Gordita Crunch Sliders are also available as part of a $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box and a $6.99 Snack Trio, which is an in-app-only item available at select locations.

The $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box includes a set of two Gordita Crunch Sliders, a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco, a Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink.

The $6.99 Snack Trio includes a set of two Gordita Crunch Sliders, Nacho Fries with nacho cheese sauce, and two Cinnabon Delights.
