News: Arby's New Super Reuben

Arby's new Super Reuben is another of their limited-time, limited participation menu items that you may or may not find at Arby's locations in your area.

It features two slices of toasted marble rye bread, a layer of thin-sliced corn beef, melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, and another layer of protein in thin-sliced turkey.

Basically what makes it "super" is the addition of turkey to Arby's normal Reuben sandwich. Then again, it comes with an extra 100g of sandwich... and 2710mg of sodium.

  3. Having just tried this new "Super Reuben" the other day, Arby's have managed to go terribly wrong.

  4. They used to have this as a regular item on their "deli sandwich" menu a few years ago.  You can't go wrong with a Reuben.

Now if I could only get a glass of beer to go with it.

  5. Where's the CRUNCHY TOASTED RYE? Soft chewy bread (more like marbled pumpernickel than rye) lacking in rye flavor bold enough to stand up to the overpowering TI dressing which also masks out the swiss cheese and bland kraut pretty thoroughly. Pricey enough for what it is that I regret my curiosity got the better of me, I now have to go somewhere that a good Reuben sandwich is available for about the same money with a heap of freshly cut FF instead of the limp overly-seasoned curly Qs.
