McDonald's to Launch New Dollar Menu with $1, $2, and $3 Items, Including a New Chicken Sandwich

McDonald's is set to bring back the Dollar Menu but with several pricing tiers ranging from $1 to $3.

It will include Happy Meals as well as a new chicken sandwich called the "Classic Chicken Sandwich."

The new value menu starts rolling out at the end of this year at participating locations. Here's what you can expect at each tier:

- At the $3 mark, there's the new Classic Chicken Sandwich as well as the Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Triple Cheeseburger, and Happy Meal.

The Classic Chicken Sandwich looks to include a buttermilk crispy chicken filet, pickles, and Signature sauce (the sauce introduced with Buttermilk Crispy Tenders) on a plain hamburger bun.

- At $2, you'll find Sausage McGriddles, two-piece Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, the Bacon McDouble, and any small McCafe drink.

- Finally, for $1 each, you can get a Sausage Burrito, McChicken, Cheeseburger, or any size fountain drink.

You might notice that the new Dollar Menu will fold in McDonald's current drink promotions but it is yet unclear how the McPick 2 fits in. It may end up being discontinued but could also run alongside the new menu.
