Review: Little Debbie - Christmas Gingerbread Soft Cookies

Little Debbie Christmas Gingerbread Soft Cookies feature soft gingerbread cookies topped with white icing and red and green sprinkles.

I picked up a 6-oz box for $2.19.

Surprisingly, these are the same size as depicted on the box.

The cookies had a nice ginger flavor to them but not so much that it veered on being spicy. It's spiced and comes with a strong caramel-molasses note. They hit a good balance with the ginger as I find that some gingerbread cookies don't really taste like ginger at all and just taste like spiced molasses cookies.

In texture, the gingerbread cookies are soft but not all that chewy. Instead, they have a slightly crumbly texture.

The very light layer of white icing added just a touch of sweetness, while the sprinkles introduced a bit of crunch.

Overall, Little Debbie Christmas Gingerbread Soft Cookies gets high marks for hitting the ginger sweet spot for a gingerbread cookie while making sure to get the molasses and spiced qualities as well.
