McDonald's Streamlines After Midnight Menu Starting April 30, 2019

In a move meant to "simplify" what's served in the wee hours between midnight and breakfast, starting April 30, 2019, McDonald's will no longer serve Signature Crafted Recipe, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and premium salads after midnight.

Basically, the chain is looking to speed up service and cut down on food waste during a relatively slow part of the night by sticking to serving the more popular menu items.

According to the chain, available items from midnight to 5 AM will include:

- Big Mac
- Quarter Pounder
- Chicken McNuggets
- All Day Breakfast
- Fries and all other sides
- Sweets & Treats
- Happy Meal
- McCafe and beverages
