While the limited-time deal is available for both delivery or carryout, it costs $2 more than the chain's previous carryout-only large, three-topping pizza deal (which may still be available in some areas but is no longer a national deal). According to the chain, the $9.99 large, three-topping-pizza deal is "Pizza Hut’s best delivery deal as compared to our other current, nationally-available large 3-topping delivery deals."
In addition to the new promotion, Pizza Hut also announced that when you now order through the Pizza Hut app or website, you can quickly check the box for "contactless delivery" (previously you had to type in an instruction for contactless delivery). The chain also offers "contactless carryout" and "contactless curbside pickup (where possible)."
