Given that a bulk of their entrees fall between $8 to $10 (varies with location), the deal amounts to a fairly nice discount if you frequent Panera enough. It's nicer still when applied to one of their $5.99 Duets (value-priced half sandwich and small soup combos).
For those of you who spend a lot of time at Panera, they also regular offer a bulk discount of 10 percent on bulk gift card orders of $500 or more.
