Available for a limited time, the new menu item features the chain's bone-in fried chicken drizzled with sweet and tangy hot honey sauce. For $5, you can get two pieces of Hot Honey Bone-In Chicken, a side, and a biscuit.
Popeyes first introduced hot honey to the menu when they debuted Hot Honey Crunch Tenders in 2017 (the menu item was popular enough that they brought them back for a limited time last year). Not to be outdone, competitor KFC also added hot honey for a limited time basis in 2018.
