Review: Kellogg's - Town House Game Day Dippers

Kellogg's limited-time Town House Game Day Dippers feature football-shaped crackers imprinted with four different football-related patterns.

A 11-oz box retails for $4.49, but I received this courtesy of Kellogg's.

Town House Dippers are a denser version of the original Town House crackers that eschews flakiness for a sturdier crunch meant to withstand various dips. Not sure if this was just my imagination, but they tasted plainer than the original Town House crackers and lacked that buttery note, which may be by design in order to compete less with a dip's flavor.

Your mileage may vary, but my particular box of Town House Game Day Dippers had many a broken cracker, likely due to shipping and handling. The cracker dust sort of obscured the different designs on the intact Game Day Dippers, but they otherwise did look exactly as pictured on the box. They worked well for dipping and could withstand a decently reasonable amount of pressure before snapping.

Town House Game Day Dippers are a fun, sports-themed take on an existing cracker offering. Will they elevate your tailgate to the next level? Unsure. Will they suffice as a carb-based vehicle for dip delivery to your mouth? Absolutely. By themselves, however, I found them to be a little underwhelming straight out of the box.
