Burger King Tests Plant-Based Take on Original Chicken Sandwich

Burger King is testing a plant-based version of their classic Original Chicken Sandwich, the new Impossible Original Chick'n Sandwich, for a limited time in the Cincinnati, OH area.

Burger King's Impossible Original Chick'n Sandwich features a crispy, breaded, plant-based chicken patty made by Impossible Foods served with shredded lettuce and mayo on a toasted sesame seed bun. Basically, it's the same as the Original Chicken Sandwich but with a plant-based patty instead of one made from chicken.

Burger King and Impossible Foods have also partnered to release the Impossible Whopper in 2019, to test the Impossible Croissan'wich in 2020, and to test plant-based Impossible Nuggets in 2021.
