Taco Bell Testing Taco Sauce Flavored Chips

Taco Bell is testing taco sauce-flavored tortilla chips in at least one location here in Southern California. Mirroring the company's taco sauces, the chips are available in Mild, Hot, and Fire versions.

The chips were spotted at a Taco Bell in Santa Ana, CA by a fellow Brand Eater who described them as tasting "like Doritos covered in Taco Bell sauce."

The chips came in 2-oz bags for $1.49 each and are good for 280 calories. You can see the bag is meant to resemble the design of Taco Bell's sauce packets.
