Dunkin' Donuts Introduces New Fudge Croissant Donut

Dunkin' Donuts kicks off the new year by launching the new Fudge Croissant Donut. They've also brought back the Chicken Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwich.

The donut features a glazed croissant donut piped with fudge filling and topped with chocolate and a white icing drizzle.

The Chicken Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwich is the less indulgent choice aimed at those whose New Year's resolutions include consuming less calories (it comes in at less than 400 calories). It includes a split chicken apple sausage, egg, and reduced fat cheddar cheese on a toasted English muffin.

Both menu items are available for a limited time at participating Dunkin' Donuts locations.

Also featured for the new year is the Caramel Macchiato. The drink showcased the brand's recently introduced Macchiato platform and features a bottom layer of steamed milk mixed with caramel flavor and a top layer of two espresso shots. It's not a new drink per se but more of an option that's being highlighted. The Macchiato is a permanent drink on the menu and caramel has always been an available flavor for various Dunkin' Donuts coffee drinks.
