Review: Jack in the Box - Mint Oreo Shake

Jack in the Box's new limited-time Mint Oreo Shake adds cool mint and a green color to their regular Oreo Shake. The green colored shake is enough to get you in the St. Paddy's Day spirit, no?

A 16-ounce regular cup costs $2.69 while a 24-ounce large cup costs just a tad more at $3.19.

16-ounce is quite a bit of shake. If you think about it, it's a little less than eating a pint of Ben & Jerry's. I wish Jack would offer a 10- or 12-ounce but I guess that's what sharing is for.

Jack's Mint Oreo Shake has a nice cool mint flavor interspersed with many tiny bits of Oreo cookies and cream mixed with mint chocolate chips. It's nice and creamy and I got a good taste of both flavors. Overall, the Mint Oreo Shake is very tasty and well worth a try if you're a fan of either.
Interestingly, while the shake was thick and required some effort to drink, it didn't feel very cold once it reached my month. Maybe the straw was too narrow or they use a binder to thicken the shake, but I don't think I could have gotten brain freeze from Jack in the Box's Mint Oreo Shake if I tried.

  1. Got this the other day with a "free" with any purchase. One sip was enough for me!
