The deal follows on the tail of the fast food chain adding $1 Coneys to their Happy Hour specials in early December.
Sonic's Chili Cheese Coney includes a grilled beef hot dog topped with chili and cheddar cheese in a bakery bun. It regularly goes for around $2 (may vary).
