McDonald's Comes Up with New Multi-Holed Straw for the Chocolate Shamrock Shake

Tongue firmly in cheek, McDonald's hired engineering firms to create a limited-edition special straw to (ideally) suck up 50% chocolate and 50% mint in each sip of the new, dual-layered Chocolate Shamrock Shake.

The result was a snorkel-like, multi-holed straw that the chain deemed " a spectacularly unnecessary product" but still made 2,000 of them that they'll be handing out at a few select locations starting February 24, 2017. They call it the "STRAW," which is an acronym for "Suction Tube for Reverse Axial Withdrawal."
