Panera Launches Three New Mac & Cheeses and More for 2018 Summer Menu

Panera Bread welcomes the summer with a trio of new Mac & Cheese dishes including BBQ Chicken Mac & Cheese and Bacon Mac & Cheese, which was introduced earlier this year as only available for delivery orders.

Here's the new dishes you'll find on Panera's 2018 summer menu:

- BBQ Chicken Mac & Cheese - Shell pasta in a blend of cheeses topped with smoked, pulled chicken, apple cider vinegar barbecue sauce, frizzled onions, and fresh cilantro.

- Baja Mac & Cheese - Shell pasta in a blend of cheeses topped with pico de gallo, avocado, and cilantro.

- Bacon Mac & Cheese - Shell pasta in a blend of cheeses topped with bacon.

- Modern Caprese sandwich - Fresh mozzarella, parmesan, basil-white bean puree, arugula, smoky tomato confit, fresh basil, and balsamic glaze, toasted on Black Pepper Focaccia.

- Four Cheese Grilled Cheese sandwich - Fontina, sharp cheddar, Monteau, and smoked Gouda on Country Rustic Bread.

- Blood Orange Lemonade

As far as seasonal menu items go, here's what has rolled over from spring or returned for the summer:

- Strawberry Poppyseed Salad with Chicken - Chicken, Romaine, mandarin oranges, strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple tossed in fat-free poppyseed dressing and topped with toasted pecan pieces.

- Summer Corn Chowder - Roasted corn and skin-on red potatoes simmered with sweet cream, poblano peppers, and cilantro.

- Steel Cut Oatmeal with blueberries, granola, and cinnamon crunch topping

- Agave Lemonade
