Red Robin Launches New Hop-Salt Fries

Red Robin looks to beer for inspiration for the launch of new Hop-Salt Fries, which feature a seasoning made with the same hops used to make Samuel Adams Boston Lager.

Specifically, the new fries take the chain's signature Bottomless Steak Fries and sprinkles on a seasoning developed in partnership with the Boston Beer Company (which brews Samuel Adams beer among others) that includes Hallertau and Tettnang hops (which gives a beer that distinctive bitterness), orange peel, and brown sugar.

The chain also introduces a number of new, limited-time menu items including:

- Island Heat Crispy Chicken sandwich - a crispy chicken breast tossed in Island Heat sauce and served on a whole-grain bun along with fresh jalapenos, lettuce, shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and mayo.

- Signature Beer Flight - Four-ounce pours of Red Robin 1969 Lager, Boston Lager, and Lagunitas IPA.

- Strawberry-Lemon Green Tea and Blackberry Hibiscus Herbal Tea

Dreamy Creamy Cake - Red Robin's take on a tres leches ("three milk") cake consists of vanilla sponge cake drenched in sweet cream and topped with either caramel sauce or sweet strawberries.

The limited-time items can be found at Red Robin restaurants nationwide for a limited time through October 14, 2018.

For only this month, they've brought back The Wise Guy burger as the Burger of the Month. It includes a beef patty, sliced pepperoni, marinara, fried mozzarella sticks, banana peppers, and tomatoes on a sesame seed bun.

Red Robin also offers a number of limited-time deals this summer at participating locations.

- Every Wednesday, kids can eat for $1.99, dine-in only. The price covers a kids' menu entree, a Bottomless beverage, and a side.

- $5 Mountain High Mudd Pie for dine-in only. It normally costs $6.99 (may vary).
