Starbucks Pours New Cordusio

Starbucks unveils the new Cordusio, what they're describing as the chain's "most espresso-forward mocha," as their latest beverage.

The new drink commemorates the opening of first Starbucks location in Italy, which is a Starbucks Reserve Roastery located at the Piazza Cordusio (hence the name of the drink).

The drink is basically a mocha with an extra shot of espresso sprinkled on top with a blend cocoa powder and sugar. It's meant to be ordered as an 8-fl oz Short and is made with whole milk by default. Compared to a similarly-sized Caffe Mocha, the Cordusio contains more espresso and less mocha sauce.

While it's designated as a limited-time, "while-supplies-last" beverage, you can still order something similar in the future by getting a Short Latte with whole milk, 2 shots of espresso, and 1 pump of mocha sauce, topped with cocoa powder.
